Introduction

It is designed for the custom use by the client. It support multi (8 to 64) channel voice recording. The toolkit is easily configurable and the client can make modifications very rapidly.

Our custom voice logger toolkit contains the following components.

Channel Interface Module

A hardware designed to acquire the data from audio receivers and make available to be transmitted to Data Acquisition Card (DAQ) in the PC. It is customizable and available in 8,16,32 and 64 channels. It allows the Real-Time Channel Monitoring. That means the user can hear the voice data of any channel while the recording of all the channels is not disturbed. In addition to this it allows the user to add gain to any of the channels

Data Acquisition Card

A digital card to be inserted in PCI slot. This will be connected to Channel Interface Module via data cable. Both DAQ and data cable are the product of National Instruments (NI).

SDK

Standard Microsoft Windows SDK is included in the package. It enables the user to use the kit in order to configure it to different channel support varying from 8 channel to 64 channel support. It also allows the user to configure Voice On Recording VOR functionality. VOR is the feature that automatically starts recording, if enabled on any channel, when it detects the sound on any channel. VOR is configurable on every channel.
