The classical view of safety is largely biased towards the causality of hazardous states and failure of products, processes, and systems, often taking a narrow technical reliability perspective in place of sensitivity to human dimension.

The vast majority of our activities involve relatively low risks to health, safety or the environment. But we do have contracts in a number of areas where the potential hazards are greater, and for these we have specific safety policies.

rcm2 take an active role in maintaining a safe working environment. We put maintaining safety above any other consideration in doing our job, and to take whatever action is necessary to maintain safety for our valued customers and the public.

Aviation Safety
We are committed to implementing, developing and improving appropriate strategies, robust management systems and processes to ensure that all our aviation activities uphold the highest level of safety performance and meet national and international standards.

Rail Safety
We provide consultancy to London Underground Limited regarding Reliability Centred Maintenance and Failure Warning Systems and Rail Standards Traceability. We collaborate with the rest of the industry to help improve everyone’s rail safety through industry forums. We also sponsor and publish independent research on safety factors. We have also developed IT Solutions and Products for rail safety such as DSTAR.

Marine Safety
We operate naval support services in the UK and Australia.
